New Friends
So there's this co-op in Toronto that has a huge budget and throws a cool party every year at the conference (I have already put in an application for membership ... but don't worry Vancouver, they probably have at least a 3 year waiting list). So Kirsten, Tino and I made a point of checking it out, and guess what? We found out where all the young and hip people were hiding!!!!!!!!
Of course we HAD to turn up fashionably late to the Empress Hotel library, another seriously swanky room with a seriously golden cieling. We had each had 2 drinks and made the rounds socializing when the bartender gave us the ten minute warning, so what in our infinite wisdom did we do? We got in line at the bar and stacked up 3 doubles and downed them in ten minutes of course! Then we started to get a bit silly.
